OREANDA-NEWS. November 13, 2010. Net income of Primorsky Commercial Port LLC (PTP, Leningrad region), according to RAS, for the 9 months of 2010, ended Sept 30 was 1,230,606,000 rubles, a 14.8-percent increase from the same period a year earlier, the company’s provisional accounting data said.

Revenues in January-September 2010 amounted to 3,482,230 rubles, 1.7% down from 9 months of 2009.

Group of companies Primorsky Commercial Port, which includes PTP LLC, CJSC Transflot, CJSC Sovfraht-Primorsk and CJSC Sea Port Service, according to IFRS, for the first half of 2010 reduced net income by 24% compared to the same period last year, to 1.32 billion rubles. The Group’s revenue made up 2,986,000,000 rubles, or 2.4% down from last year's results.

Primorsky Commercial Port LLC (PTP) is the largest stevedoring company in the Russian North-West Federal District, providing cargo handling services to oil companies, and transshipping crude oil received by the Baltic pipeline system. Crude exports via Primorsky Terminal in 2009 amounted to 74,895,200 tons.
