Mobile TeleSystems OJSC (“MTS” – NYSE: MBT), the leading telecommunications provider in Russia and the CIS, announces that it has received a written notification from the Moscow Interbank Currency Exchange (MICEX) informing the Company that its ordinary shares have been moved from quotation list “B” to quotation list “A1”. The shares are traded on MICEX under ticker symbol “MTSI”.
