OREANDA-NEWS. November 18, 2010. At the invitation of the Businessmen Association of Moldova, the international expert in economy, the author of the Funky Business held a master-class in Chisinau with 800 businessmen, students, journalists and bloggers participating.

According to the expert, the modern world is built on globalization and informatization, every knowledge is accessible and everything can be copied. What makes a business different is a human fantasy. While today there are about half of those of invents and half of those who copies, in about 20-30 years there will be just a small part inventing and the most part – copying. Kjell Nordstrom gave the example of China which has firmly consolidated the “good number 2” position: taking advantage of the globalization it copies things which were invented by others. In Kjell Nordstrom’s opinion, it is not the country but the “idea” expressed on the paper (the Constitution) which bears the name of the USA – the idea of internationalization of knowledge, development of innovations worked for by best intellects of the world – that will be on the first position.

Other immigrant countries such as Canada, Australia, New Zealand are in the similar situation but the number of their population is ten times lower than in the USA. All other countries were created according to the nationality principle and in order to become, a Swede, for example, 3-5 generations are necessity, while only 3-5 years are needed to become an American.

Kjell Nordstrom also drew attention to the fact that up to 75% of women presently study in higher institutions; women pay off the undertaken obligations in 99% of cases; the world has been observing the solitude growth tendency (56% of people are single in a number of countries, many people bring up their children on their own); the world will turn into a world of cities, not countries within the next 10-20 years. Kjell Nordstrom believes that there can be no control in the modern capitalism, people got the know-go-do-be freedom.

It is only cooperation that still has place. Capitalism is the worst economy model but we have no alternative, according to Kjell Nordstrom. There are only two directions for business to be successful: to be attractive (including unique) or to correspond. He believes mass internationalization in all areas of human activity is necessary for development of such country as Moldova – the more it is, the more doors will be open. It is also necessary to allow business being the motive transformation power to change people’s thinking.
