OREANDA-NEWS. November 18, 2010. Six tourists that were in the minibus that got in a traffic accident on November 15, 2010 in Egypt on Hurghada – Safaga highway were insured by Ingosstrakh. As a result of the accident one Russian and one Ukrainian female citizens died. The perished Russian tourist had also been insured by Ingosstrakh. In total in the minibus that turned over because of the burst tire there were 16 tourists including 7 Russian citizens and citizens of Ukraine. All theinjured were taken to the public hospital of Safaga. They got injuries of different severity level, bruises and cuts. First aid was administered to them in the public hospital of Safaga. Two tourists were taken to the Hurghada clinic for further examination.

Representatives of the Ingosstrakh insurance company are constantly in touch with relatives of the perished and injured tourists and also with the doctors of the hospital, consular officers of the Russian Embassy in Egypt. All the injured received necessary medical care. As of 12:00, November 16 there are 2 persons left in the hospital.

The body of the perished Russian woman insured by Ingosstrakh will be transferred to the motherland in the nearest future.

The perished and injured tourists were insured by Ingosstrakh under the medical expenses insurance program.
