OREANDA-NEWS. November 22, 2010. Total credit investments in the economy of Azerbaijan constituted 8936,6 mln. manats. This indicator increased by 14,9% compared with the respective period of the previous year. Only 448,5 mln. manats (5%) of credit investments accounted for the expired credits. 29,4% or 2631,2 mln. manats of credits were issued for households, reported the press-centre of CBA.

The amount of credits directed at trade and services was 2080,7 mln. manats (23,3%). 463,0 mln. manats (5,2%) of the credits account for transport and communication, and 660,0 mln. manats (7,4%) for industry and production.

1061,8 mln. manats or 11,9% of credits were directed at energy, chemical and natural resources, 435,2 mln. manats or 4,9% at agriculture and processing, 623,7 mln. manats (7,0%) at construction and property, and 52,7 mln. manats or 0,6% other sectors.

As at 1 October 2010, 2486,5 mln. manats (27,8%) of loans are short- and 6450,1 mln. manats (72,2%) – long-term loans.

The State owned bank invested loans to the economy equaling to 3930,9 mln. manats (44,0%), private banks 4823,6 mln. manats (54,0%), and NBCIs 182,2 mln. manats (2,0%).

5562,1 mln. manats or 62,2% of loans were issued in manats, 3374,6 mln. manats or 37,8% in foreign currency.
