OREANDA-NEWS. November 26, 2010. Five exhibitions opened simultaneously at Uzexpocenter in Tashkent on 17 November. They are Auto&Parts Uzbekistan, TransUzbekistan (transport and logistics), UzComak (road building technologies), Chemie Uzbekistan (chemical industry) and Plastex Uzbekistan (plastic products).

The events have been organized by the Ministry for Foreign Economic Relations, Investments and Trade, Commerce and Industry Chamber, state joint stock companies Uzkimyosanoat, Uzavtoyul and Uzbekistan Railways, Tashkent city administration, Toshshahartranskhizmat and International Car Transporters associations.

More than 70 companies from almost 20 states are participating in the exhibitions, organized in the framework of one large project Uzbekistan Infrastructure 2010.

The exhibitions feature areas like transport technologies, car, railway, sea and river transport, cargo transportation, logistics, information services, control systems, technical service and many others.

Uzbekistan is one of the leaders in the Commonwealth of Independent States in terms of the growth of cargo transportations.
