OREANDA-NEWS. November 29, 2010. Over the 9 months of 2010 the Koryazhma Branch of Ilim Group has made 753,000 tons of market pulp and paper products. It is 15% more than in the three quarters of the previous year.

This includes 247,000 tons of market pulp, which is a 41% percent increase from the first 9 months of 2009. Such a significant increase has been achieved due to positive market dynamics, so Koryazhma branch of Ilim Group has started to produce new type of product — unbleached softwood pulp.

Market containerboard production has gained 9%, reaching 357,000 tons.

Paper production has amounted to 149,000 tons, which is 2% less than over the similar period of the previous year. A total of 43,000 tons of sack paper, 82,000 tons of offset paper and 24,000 tons of paper for wallpaper manufacturing applications were produced.

Pulp cooking has grown by 15% to 788,000 tons.

Wood supplies to the Koryazhma Branch were increased by 11%, totaling 3,356,000 cubic meters.

In the 9 months of 2010 the production output of JSC Ilim Gofra has gained 68%.
