OREANDA-NEWS. November 29, 2010. Over the nine months of 2010 Ilim Group’s mills have produced 1,836,000 tons of pulp and paper products. This is 7% above the performance over the similar period in 2009.

This includes 1,165,000 tons of market pulp, which is a 9% percent increase from the first 9 months of 2009.

Board production has gained 5%, going up to 522,000 tons. Paper output amounted to 149,000 tons, which is 2% less than in the first three quarters of the previous year.

Mr. Paul Herbert, Chief Executive Officer of Ilim Group, comments on the nine-month performance results: "We are currently experiencing conditions conducive to maximizing our production output: the effects of the crisis are becoming less evident, the markets are recovering. Ilim Group’s performance fully reflects this trend."
