OREANDA-NEWS. November 29, 2010. JSC “EMAlliance” and the company “Hamon” (Belgium) have signed the letter of intent for the cooperation in the field of air pollution control for the power and industry business. The Letter of Intent was signed by the President of JSC “EMAllance” Timur Avdeenko and Philippe Delvaux – the President of Hamon’s Business Unit Environmental.

In accordance with the signed agreement JSC “EMAllance” initially intents to market and promote Hamon’s APC Technology to the CIS and Russian markets. In the future the Parties consider the possibilities to establish a Joint venture within the territory of Russia, as well as options to manufacture in Russia the state-of-the-art air quality control systems as a part of a License Agreement.

As of today the experts estimate the potential volume of this type of product on CIS and Russian markets as USD 1.5 bln. up to 2020.

In the course of negotiations the Parties highly appreciated the abilities of JSC “EMAlliance” in manufacturing the most advanced equipment for power industry as well as the “Hamon’s” experience in high tech flue gas cleaning equipment design and production. Companies’ representatives believe that the existing programs on the national power industry modernization and environmental technologies state support programs will allow the participants of the Agreement to obtain the significant share of innovative technologies market in Russia and CIS countries.

Commenting on the signing of the letter of intent for cooperation, President of JSC “EMAlliance” Timur Avdeenko noted that this document has become one more significant step in implementation of company strategy aimed at extension of offers and scope of modern boiler island equipment supply and localization of the advanced engineering solutions on production facilities of “EMAllaince” in collaboration with one the world leading companies in this area. "Innovative and environmentally friendly solutions is the future of national power industry and can be considered as the absolute competitive advantages for the companies that can introduce the technology in the market" - he said.
