OREANDA-NEWS. November 30, 2010. DemirBank’s assets as of November 1, 2010 amount 289.1 mln AZN, which exceeds the same indicator of previous year by 32.8 mln AZN or 12.8%. Volume of the loan portfolio also increased by 22.3% and reached 229.6 mln AZN, reported the press-centre of DemirBank.   

Total value of customer deposits as of November 1, 2010 is equal to 98.0 mln AZN. Value of population’s deposits has reached 80.9 mln AZN, which represents a 27.1% or 17.3 mln AZN increase.

As of November 1, 2010 DemirBank’s shareholders capital amounted 20 mln AZN, while total regulatory capital reached 48.6 mln AZN.

One of the first banks of Azerbaijan, DemirBank (formerly called Azerdemiryolbank) started its operations in October 1989. Shareholders of the Banks include large international financial institutions, such as European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and Netherlands Development Finance Company (FMO).
