OREANDA-NEWS. November 30, 2010. The Belarusian State Property Committee on December 6, 2010 will hold a repeated auction to sell Bobruisk fiberboard plant, subordinate to Mogilevenergo, the Committee said in a statement.

The initial price stands at 16.826 billion Belarusian rubles (Br), down 41% from the original selling price. The property complex costs 15.127 billion rubles, and the combined cost of land lease titles for 20 years amounts to 1.699 billion rubles.

A deposit of 1 billion rubles is required to make a bid.

The plant employs 475 personnel and makes 15 million square meters of fiberboard annually.

The investor will have to preserve the number of jobs for 12 months and at least 90% of jobs for another 12 months, and keep the core activity of the producer for 60 months. At least USD 7 million will have to be invested in the production within 36 months.

Bobruisk fiberboard plant, established in 1968, exports its make to 21 countries of Europe and Asia.
