OREANDA-NEWS. December 01, 2010. Kommersant-Dengi journal has published its traditional series of bank rankings in which Sviaz-Bank holds stable positions in terms of basic performances, reported the press-centre of Sviaz-Bank.

In the journal’s estimates, the profit of 4.1 billion rubles the Bank had earned by October 1, 2010, elevated it to 11th place among the most profitable banks.

Sviaz-Bank was named 20th among Russia’s 200 biggest banks in the size of capital (as of October1, 2010), with its equity capital of 29.5billion rubles, and put in 30th place among this country’s 200biggest banks in net assets (as of October 1, 2010), which were estimated at 131.5billion rubles.

The journal placed Sviaz-Bank in the 17th slot among banks making the most investments, with 45 billion rubles it had put into securities.

These ranking have been arrived at by the journal using its own techniques and may be different from the Bank’s official performances computed by the techniques used by the Bank of Russia.
