OREANDA-NEWS. December 02, 2010. The Board of Russian Railways has approved the creation of a subsidiary on the basis of the Lublin Foundry & Mechanical Plant to produce spare parts for rolling stock, reported the press-centre of RZD.

 The subsidiary will meet the long-term needs of Russia's transport system for spare parts for the rail sector, improve product quality and lift production volumes as a result of increased foreign orders and new markets. ts for rolling stock in Russia and the CIS countries.

The authorised capital of the subsidiary will be 6.05 billion roubles. Russian Railways will hold 100% of the company minus 1 share, while the not-for-profit organisation Zheldorreforma will hold 1 share. Preliminary estimates put the subsidiary's investment programme to 2015 at over 1.1 billion roubles.
