OREANDA-NEWS. December 03, 2010. A ministerial task group on cooperation with the BASF concern has been set up in Belarus following Premier’s instruction No 148p. The group is headed by First Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Vladimir Semashko.

The task group has been set up as part of the agreements reached with the BASF concern to consider within three months the possibilities of expanding the list of chemical products based on BASF components and produced by the Belarusian companies by means of increasing manufactures, supplies and sales of the BASF licensed products. The agreements also include the concern’s participation in the management of the companies of the chemical industry, their privatization and opening of new companies with the use of the BASF technologies.

The ministerial task group has been instructed to work out jointly with the BASF concern a plan of practical measures on cooperation and the use of BASF technologies for the production of new types of chemical and petrochemical products in Belarus. The plan should be ready by 23 February 2011.
