OREANDA-NEWS. December 6, 2010. Radio ENERGY has won the annual national Russian prize in the entertainment industry – the Russian Entertainment Awards 2010. On the awards website www.reawards.ru, after a nation-wide electronic voting in twelve categories. Visitors of the official Russian Entertainment Awards site named Radio ENERGY the Radio Station of the Year.

Radio ENERGY is a joint project with the Prof-Media Broadcasting Corporation and NRJ Group, one of the leading brands in the global radio industry, broadcasting in France, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Germany, Denmark, Lebanon, Norway, Russia, Ukraine, Finland, Switzerland, Sweden, and Canada. Radio stations united under the ENERGY brand (NRJ) have an image as fashionable, progressive, popular stations and trendsetters of musical fashion.

The national prize Russian Entertainment Awards has been held for four years with official support from the Russian State Duma, the Foreign Ministry, the Ministry of Mass Communications and the government of Moscow.

This year the along with Radio ENERGY, popular favourites in various categories were the television channel 2x2, the magazine National Geographic, the chain of cinemas ‘5 star’, the Moscow Circus at Prospekt Vernadskogo, the games portal Nevosoft.ru, the McDonald’s restaurant chain, the Crocus City Hall concert hall, the B1 MAXIMUM club, the State Tretyakov Gallery, the VEGAS entertainment complex, the Sovremennik theatre, and others. Russian ballerina Maya Plisetskaya was named Person of the Year 2010 by the directors, and a special award, ‘Legend of the Year 2010’, went to French singer Patricia KAAS.
