OREANDA-NEWS. December 07, 2010. US company Honeywell opened a training center and a laboratory at the Tashkent State Technical University.

The purpose of the center is to improve the students’ skills to meet the growing requirements of the industry, by developing and enhancing the understanding of the main rules of industrial processes.

Being part of the Honeywell training centers network, the new center will be provided with all new developments of the company related to imitation modeling of the technological processes.
The center will train bachelor’s and master’s students as well as post-graduates the peculiarities of the technological processes.

Besides, employees of the industrial enterprises of the country will be able to train here, together with specialists for Honeywell projects in Uzbekistan.

Tashkent State Technical University named after Abu Raikhan Beruni is one of the largest technical universities in Central Asia in the fields of aviation, geology, machinery building, energy, electronics and automatics.

The institution has a number of modern scientific and learning laboratories, and is known for its strong experimental base and pre-university and post-graduate education.
