OREANDA-NEWS. December 7, 2010. JSC SITRONICS (SITRONICS or the Company) (LSE: SITR), a leading provider of telecommunications, information technology and microelectronic solutions in Russia and the CIS, and Ericsson, the world’s leading provider of technology and services for telecom operators, have agreed to set up partner relations.

Within this partnership, Ericsson and SITRONICS will be jointly developing IP competencies and expertise and will start cooperation in developing solutions for IMS, OSS/BSS and new communication services.

Ericsson will build for SITRONICS a demo-lab and establish an expert and consultancy center on IP, fixed broadband, fiber optics, IMS and advanced value-added services. New products would be tested there. Ericsson will also launch a competency development program in those areas to train SITRONICS’ specialists.

The parties are also signing a distribution agreement, under which SITRONICS will become a distributor of Ericsson’s IP, IMS, VAS and fixed broadband solutions in the CIS countries.
