OREANDA-NEWS. December 10, 2010. In 2011 the Government of Ukraine will continue the administrative reform, will decrease public debt, strengthen the independence and will promote housing and health sector reforms.

"Next year is very important for the country. We have only one way out - to carry out reforms quickly and decisively. Covering several years, we must not only catch up our neighbours, but to ensure the future strong growth. Therefore, the President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych sets in front of the Government tough tasks" - Andrey Klyuyev said.

He said that next year administrative reform would continue to be implemented, because "recent years the quality of the authority system in the country had been deteriorated drastically".

"Next is total deregulation of the economy. Already a lot of steps were done to facilitate business, such as significant reduction of the number of licenses. It is planned to simplify radically licensing procedures for construction. Administrative services reform will go on. Steps to facilitate the opening a new and closing an existing businesses are prepared. It is important to minimize contact of entrepreneur with state structures – administrative reform and deregulation of the economy are inextricably linked with anti-corruption measures" – the Senior Vice Prime Minister said.

Moreover, according to Andriy Klyuyev, one of the most important tasks of the Cabinet will be to reduce the debt, which has grown incredibly in the last two years, and to strengthen the energy independence.

"One of the key tasks for "Naftogaz Ukraine" is to increase own production, and in general for the government - to encourage the modernization of the industry. We will continue the work on creating conditions for investments coming in oil and gas sectors, including shale gas and coal gas - methane. In the coal sector reform, the main objectives will be to increase the coal production and to improve working conditions. We are actively preparing for new nuclear power plant construction and existing nuclear power plants life extension. In addition one of the important tasks is to develop alternative energy"- the Senior Vice Prime Minister said.

Also, according to Andriy Kliuyev work on the reforms in housing and health care is ahead.
