OREANDA-NEWS. December 10, 2010. Danon-Unimilk plans to invest about 7 million Euros in the modernization of ILLC  VySokovoe, in the Brest Region, in the first half of 2011, a source in the administration of the country told.

The investor plans to replace the existing equipment with modern processing and packaging equipment with complete process automation.

According to preliminary plans, ILLC  VySokovoe will start making juices in summer 2011. By that time, the capacity of the company will have reached 150 tonnes a day.

ILLC  VySokovoe will export its products to the markets where Danon-Unimilk conducts operations.

VySokovoe was formed as a result of the acquisition of Fruit Juice Factory VDH, which used to be controlled by German LEAH Holding, by Unimilk. The transaction was completed in September and closed in October.

Danon-Unimilk has controlling stakes of 51% in CLLC  Unimilk-Shklov and CLLC  Unimilk-Pruzhany.
