OREANDA-NEWS. December 15, 2010. Ukio bankas invites its clients to transfer their stock portfolios under particularly beneficial conditions until 31 January of the next year. During the offer period Estonian securities will be transferred to Ukio bankas free-of-charge, while the transfer of Latvian securities will be charged a mere LTL 10. The transfer of Lithuanian issuers’ stocks will continue to be free-of-charge, reported the press-centre of Ukio Bankas.

This year volumes of Ukio bankas clients’ trade in securities through the Bank’s online platform have been growing. In the January-November 2010 period, out of all intermediaries of public trading registered in Lithuania, Ukio bankas ranked second according to both the number of concluded transactions and the stock turnover on all Baltic stock exchanges. In November against January, the number of Ukio bankas clients’ transactions concluded in shares on Baltic stock exchanges soared 32 percent, while the turnover surged 47 percent.

For online trading in securities Ukio bankas is applying one of the lowest commissions on the market – a mere 0.12 percent of a transaction value (the minimal fee in Lithuania is EUR, in Latvia – LVL 2, and Estonia – EUR 3). Investors can use Ukio bankas system of trade in financial instruments upon connecting to the Bank’s internet banking system Eta bankas. To do that, Agreements on Internet Services and Investment Services have to be concluded.
