OREANDA-NEWS. December 16, 2010. Freight One has achieved a record haulage volume on the Far Eastern Railway.

The company’s Vladivostok branch hauled nearly 770,000 metric tons of freight on the Far Eastern Railway in November, up 10% from November 2010 and 17.5% from this October.

It was the branch’s best result since it began operations in January 2009.

The increase mainly came from coal (+105%), non-ferrous ores (38.4%) and petroleum products (+12%).

The company’s Vladivostok branch hauled a total of 7.3 million tons of freight on the Far Eastern Railway in the first 11 months of 2010, which was 24.5% more than in the first 10 months of 2009.
