OREANDA-NEWS. December 17, 2010. FAS Russia’s delegation visited Vienna (Austria), where the Head of FAS Russia Igor Artemyev made a presentation about the “Latest Changes in Russian Antimonopoly Law and Enforcement Practice”. The event was organized by the Austrian Federal Competition Authority and the Austria-Russia Friendship Society, reported the press-centre of FAS Russia.

Attendees included representatives of Austrian Federal Ministries, factions of the Vienna Parliament and representatives of political and business circles.

The Head of FAS Russia talked about FAS Russia’s efforts on antimonopoly enforcement in Russia and amendments to the existing antimonopoly law. Igor Artemyev also informed the audience about recent cases won by FAS Russia, particularly against large oil companies.

The presentation generated vivid interest and the Head of Russian Competition Authority was asked several questions, to which he gladly gave full answers.
