OREANDA-NEWS. December 20, 2010. PrJSC “MTS UKRAINE” acting under the trade mark “MTS” announces introduction of changes to the cost and procedure of provision of international communication services for the MTS Contract subscribers and MTS Prepaid users, reported the press-centre of MTS.
 
In view of the network access rates of some foreign operators increasing by more than twice starting from January 1, 2011 certain changes will be introduced to the respective conditions of provision of international call services while all per-minute rates will remain unchanged.
 
MTS also leaves unchanged for all contract subscribers the Unlimited International service under which 1 minute of an international call costs only UAH 1 without connection fee regardless of the time of making such call.
 
Starting from December 18, 2010 the standard connection fee for the MTS Contract subscribers (except special tariff plans for corporate subscribers) and MTS Prepaid users will be UAH 0.50 for outcoming calls to any international destinations. The per-minute rates for calls to the said destinations will remain unchanged.
 
As of February 1, 2011 the service fee of UAH 5 a month will be charged at the moment of making the first call during a current month using 000 - the special code of the MTS International service. Rates for calls to any destinations made within the frames of the MTS International service will remain the same.
 
Starting from February 1, 2011 the subscriber fee in the amount of UAH 0.50 a day will be introduced for the MTS Prepaid users that are serviced on the basis of Tourist MTS and MTS Tourist tariff plans. The lowest per-minute rate for calls to Russia, which is UAH 0.25 a minute, as well as rates to other destinations are left unchanged.
 
The tariffs are indicated in UAH including VAT. The Pension Fund duty in the amount of 7.5% of the service cost is additionally charged excluding VAT.
