OREANDA-NEWS. December 21, 2010. In November Estonian Air carried 7816 passengers, which is 401.6% more y-o-y. The market share of Estonian Air in regular flights segment at Vilnius Airport was 10%, which is 7.5 percentage points higher y-o-y. In November, considering the amount of passengers, Estonian air rose to third position among regular flight carriers, reported the press-centre of Estonian Air.

From January to November Estonian Air carried 46130 passengers, which is 354.2% more y-o-y. The total market share (regular and charter flights segments together) was 3.6%, which is 2.53 percentage points more y-o-y.

„Estonian Air’s market share increase at Vilnius Airport has been influenced by adding two new routes (Vilnius-Amsterdam and Vilnius-Stockholm) and the addition of Sunday flights on the Vilnius-Tallinn route this year. Estonian Air will add to its network direct flights between Vilnius and Milan in the middle of December, which is already a third new route this year,“ said Rauno Parras, Estonian Air Vice President Commercial.

Estonian Air is operating regular flights from Vilnius to Tallinn, Amsterdam and Stockholm, starting from 18 December 2010 flights to Milan will be added.
