OREANDA-NEWS. December 23, 2010. The XI-th report and re-election conference of the young employees of TATNEFT was held in the great hall of the Palace of Culture "Neftche". The conference was attended by over 650 delegates from the structural divisions, subsidiaries and management companies of TATNEFT, reported the press-centre of TATNEFT.

In the year of the 60-th anniversary of TATNEFT establishment the youth organization of the Company celebrated its first big jubilee. Ten years of successful work proved convincingly that the young oilmen with their proactive approach to life are capable of facing the most complicated challenges.There are 25,632 young workers employed in TATNEFT. During its existence the youth organization has gained experience participating together with the management of TATNEFT in solving the most pressing technical, technological, geological and economic as well as organizational issues, introducing innovative ideas to production activities of the Company.

A key aspect of the youth policy pursued by TATNEFT is identification and support of talented youth and definition of their creativity potential.

Scientific and practical conferences organized by the Committee of the youth organization and the Central Council of young specialists are annually arranged with active participation of young professionals. It invigorates and systematizes the production and creative activity of young cadres and encourages the exchange of scientific and production expertise.

The youth productively participates in the innovative activities of the Company. The economic effect of innovation of our young rationalizes for the year exceeded the amount of 350 million rubles.

The youth organization of TATNEFT has once again confirmed its professional and creative abilities by successful participation in the contest "Young Innovator and Inventor of the Republic of Tatarstan 2010". The young professionals of the Company have been announced the best in Tatarstan in the category "Oil and Gas Industry" based on the contest's results.

High skills of TATNEFT employees are ensured by constant attention of the Company to improving the professional level of the employees and especially those of the young people. Professional skills contests arranged among major special oil production working occupations are a good incentive to increase the skills and a good opportunity to exchange the best practices experience.

The young workers annually demonstrate their skills, adequately representing the Company in various All-Russian competitions. For example, the representatives of TATNEFT have again become the best in the contest for the "Best Welder of Russia" title.

At the youth report and re-election conference the delegates discussed the issues of production activities, professional development, remuneration and social guarantees stipulated by the Collective Labor Agreement.

Nail Ibragimov, First Deputy General Director for Operations - Chief Engineer of TATNEFT, in his speech addressing to the delegates of the report and re-election conference has highly appraised the activity of TATNEFT's young workers, who worthily continue the glorious traditions of the Company, which has celebrated its 60-th anniversary this year.

The conference has re-elected Evgeny Piyanzin as Chairman of the Youth Committee.
