OREANDA-NEWS. December 23, 2010. OJSC ROSNO-MS has been named a winner of an open tender for the right to conclude a contract for provision of obligatory medical insurance coverage to employees of the Western Siberian Railway — a branch of OJSC Russian Railways. OJSC ROSNO-MS has been named a winner of an open tender for the right to conclude a contract for provision of obligatory medical insurance coverage to employees of the Western Siberian Railway — a branch of OJSC Russian Railways, reported the press-centre of ROSNO.

As a result of this victory in the tender, OJSC ROSNO-MS will conclude public contracts whereunder the company will provide insurance protection for the year 2011 to over 34 thousand employees of the Western Siberian Railway working in Omsk and Novosibirsk Regions.

The insurer’s employees will control volumes and quality of provided medical aid and will explain insurants their rights in the obligatory medical insurance system.

In total, five insurance companies, including four federal-scale insurers had participated in the tender.

OJSC ROSNO-MS has been insuring employees of the railway industry divisions for several years already. Presently, insurance protection covers employees of the Zheldoruchet Corporate Accounting and Reporting Centre — branches RZD Novosibirsk Region and RZD Krasnoyarsk Krai, employees of the Oktyabrskaya Railway — a branch of OJSC RZD in the Novgorod Region, and employees of the Gorkovskaya Directorate for Motive Rolling Stock Repairs, a structural subdivision of the Directorate for Motive Rolling Stock Repairs — a branch of OJSC RZD. The total number of insured RZD employees exceeds 7,000 people.
