OREANDA-NEWS. December 27, 2010. The Latvian national airline airBaltic starts serving Nespresso coffee in flights to Europe, Middle East and Russia/CIS.

We have recently upgraded our meals – the business class menu is organic and developed by Mвrtiтр Rоtiтр, the most renowned chef in the Baltic region. Now we improve our coffee service, by introducing the elegant tastes of Nespresso. Coffee lovers can now enjoy their favourite aromas 10 km up in the air.”

airBaltic will offer three ranges of coffees – Espresso, Lungo and Decafeinato, as well as Cappucino Classic that is based on the round and balanced Esspresso Forte and foamed milk.

The Nespresso coffee is initially made available to airBaltic business class passengers travelling onboard the carrier’s Boeing 757-200 and Boeing 737-300. airBaltic will evaluate introducing Nespresso coffee as paid service to economy class passengers at a later stage.

airBaltic serves 80 destinations from its home base at Riga, Latvia. From every one of these, airBaltic offers convenient connections via North Hub Riga to its network spanning Europe, Scandinavia, Russia, CIS and the Middle East.
