OREANDA-NEWS. December 27, 2010. The Ingostrakh OJSIC branch in Saransk entered into an agricultural insurance contract with Niva LLC, a company located in Yalga settlement, the Republic of Mordovia. Under the contract, insurance coverage for a total of RUR 17 million is provided for the harvest of Moscow 39 spring wheat planted on the area of 770 hectares.

Under the terms of the contract, the future harvest is insured against partial or complete loss due to the impact of unfavourable natural events such as drought, ground frost, frost-killing, rotting-out, hail, dust and sand storms, earthquakes, avalanches, landslides, floods, overwatering in soil. The contract was entered into with the state support.

Ingosstrakh OJSIC and Niva LLC have been cooperating in all types of insurance since March 2009. During this time, in addition to agricultural crops, Ingosstrakh has provided insurance coverage for transport vehicles, special machinery and agricultural equipment, real property, inventories and cattle stocks.
