OREANDA-NEWS. December 28, 2010. Vladimir Boiko, the CEO of Illich Steelworks, has announced the 110% yoy increase in sales in FY10. The company’s output on all steelmaking stages grew by 30-38%. According to Mr. Boiko, the production growth is largely attributed to the stabilization of inputs supply and losses compensation following the MMKI acquisition by Metinvest.

Millennium Capital: the news is POSITIVE for MMKI. The company is realizing the synergy effects from the merger with Metinvest, and has sufficient demand for its produce. According to Metal Courier, MMKI has already filled its January order portfolio, implying a further 10% increase in output.
