OREANDA-NEWS. December 28, 2010. We hereby remind you that since 1st January 2011 the Estonian national currency – the Estonian kroon – will be replaced by the euro and we are informing you about the order of converting the Estonian kroons into euros or other currencies:

Performing EEK cash operations:

1. EEK exchange operations in cash will be performed until 15:00 o’clock on 31st December 2010.

2. Operations of depositing EEK cash into your accounts will be performed until the end of the business day on 31st December 2010.

Exchanging EEK accounts’ balances into EUR:

1. EEK in current accounts will be automatically converted into EUR at night from 31-12-2010 to 01-01-2011 at the official rate (1 EUR=15,6466 EEK), by automatically opening the account for the clients in EUR currency.

2. EEK in time deposit accounts will be automatically converted into EUR at night from 31-12-2010 to 01-01-2011 at the official rate (1 EUR=15,6466 EEK), by automatically opening the account for the clients in EUR currency.

Managing international EEK transfers:

1. Ordinary international EEK transfers in Bank SNORAS are accepted until the end of the business day on 29th December 2010;

2. Urgent international EEK transfers in Bank SNORAS are accepted until the end of the business day on 30th December 2010;

3. Extra urgent international EEK transfers in Bank SNORAS are accepted until 12:00 o’clock on 31st December 2010.

Managing local EEK transfers:

1. Local EEK transfers in Bank SNORAS are accepted until the end of the business day on 31st December 2010.

2. Local EEK transfers to other banks registered in Lithuania are accepted until 13:30 o’clock on 31st December 2010.
