TENEX Announced Main Results of Performance in 2010

In 2010 TENEX concluded a number of long-tem contracts with foreign companies (and extended the existing ones), in particular:
— Contracts with four
— Long-term (2017 to 2025) contracts with lead European utilities.
— A contract up to 2020 for enriched uranium product (EUP) deliveries with one of the largest Japanese utilities.
— A contract with South African ESCOM Holdings Limited for long-term EUP deliveries.
As a result TENEX increased its portfolio of export orders for a five-year period to about USD 10 billion, while the total portfolio of long-term contracts approached USD 20 billion.
Under a contract between TENEX and Chinese Nuclear Energy Industry Company (CNEIC) on rendering technical assistance in construction in China of Unit 4 of the gas centrifuge plant (GCP) with production capacity of 500 thousand SWUs, all major technological equipment have been shipped and 95% of auxiliary equipment and project documentation delivered. The high rate of construction and assembly works support expectations that the plant may be commissioned in 2011 well ahead of schedule.

Between January and March an audit was performed and a certificate was granted of the compliance of TENEX environmental management system with the requirements of the international standard ISO 14001:2009 in the field of "organization and implementation of export and import deliveries of products by nuclear fuel cycle".
