OREANDA-NEWS. December 31, 2010. The Office of the Federal Antimonopoly Service in the Perm region (Perm OFAS Russia) initiated a case against “Pokrovsky Khleb” Ltd. upon the signs of violating Clause 1 Part 1 Article 10 and Clause 6 Part 1 Article 10 of the Federal Law “On Protection of Competition”.

The company fixed monopolistically high bread prices in November – December 2010 and also fixed different prices for the same products without any economic or technological justification.

“The Antimonopoly Service controls that dominant companies on the bread market do not abuse their position, particularly, by fixing monopolistically high prices”, commented the Head of Perm OFAS Russia, Mr. Dmitry Makhnin.
