OREANDA-NEWS. January 4, 2011. Belarus’ international reserves, by the International Monetary Fund’s Special Data Dissemination Standards, went up 0.9% January-November 2010 to USD 5.705 billion as of December 1, 2010, according to the National Statistics Committee.

As of December 1, foreign currency reserve assets amounted to USD 2.804 billion, up 11.3% in the first eleven months, the amount of monetary gold reached the equivalent of USD 1.564 billion, up 90.5%, and other assets were at USD 774.8 million, down 55.3%.

Special drawing rights were at USD 562.5 million as of December 1, down 2.7% from January 1, 2010. Belarus’ IMF reserve position is at USD 0 million, showing no change

In 2009, Belarus’ reserves went up by USD 2.591 billion, or 84.7%. This year, international reserves are projected to rise by USD 500 million-USD 1.83 billion.
