Vladislav Shaybovich has been appointed as head of management and development of wireless telecom networks at Rostelecom.  He will be in charge of managing existing assets in the area of wireless telecommunications technologies, and also developing this area of business in the merged company to be formed on the basis of Rostelecom.

Vladislav Shaybovich was born on December 7, 1971 in Chelyabinsk.  He graduated from the G.I. Nosov Magnitogorsk State Technical University with a major in Economics and Enterprise Management, and also the Urals Academy of State Service under the Presidential Program for Professional Retraining of Management Executives.  In 2007 Mr. Shaybovich received his MBA from the Academy of the National Economy under the Government of the Russian Federation.

In 2003-2007 Vladislav Shaybovich worked at Tele2-Chelyabinsk, first as commercial director and then as general director. In 2007 he became a member of the management board of Tele2-Russia and general director of the company’s North-Eastern Macroregion.

In 2005 Vladislav Shaybovich was named “Person of the Year” in the Investment AB Kinnevik group of companies which consists of TELE2 as well as other telecommunications, media and industrial holdings.

According to Senior Vice President of Rostelecom Alexey Nichiporenko, “Vladislav Shabovich’s expertise and professional qualifications will definitely contribute to the intensive development of Rostelecom’s business in the area of wireless technologies, which is one of the merged company’s top priorities”.
