OREANDA-NEWS. January 12, 2011. 2010, GDP growth will exceed 4%. The Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov declared at a meeting with the Member of the European Commission for Enlargement and European Neighbourhood Policy Stefan Fule.

"During the year we will have more than 4% GDP growth. We kept the budget deficit of about 5% - we have reduced this three times compared with the year 2009. We paid all the debts on time and adopted budget for the current year" - Mykola Azarov emphasized. He added that after the Tax Code adoption the fundamental business climate in the country changed. "Already starting the first of January the income tax is 2% less than last year – what makes 23%. 1% - to 19% value added tax is reduced. There is also a norm that promotes accelerated depreciation of fixed assets and investments in modernization of production" - the head of the Government underlined.
