OREANDA-NEWS. January 13, 2011. Keeping to production and delivery schedules and even working ahead of them, all plants and subdivisions of KAMAZ fulfilled their production plans already on the 29th of December.

In December 2010, KAMAZ produced over 3.6 thousand vehicle sets (1,834 units in December 2009), delivered almost 4 thousand engines and power units to the mother assembly conveyor of Automobile Plant and other customers, and shipped spare parts to the tune of more than 900 million roubles for selling (against 654 million roubles in 2009).

The mother assembly conveyor executed customers’ orders in 2010. On the 29th of December, the 34-thousandth vehicle set came off the conveyor. Thus, in addition to the number of vehicle sets planned at the beginning of 2010, 5.6 thousand units more were produced, and the company produced by 10.7 thousand vehicle sets or by 45% more than in 2009.

KAMAZ-Diesel and CUMMINS KAMA Russian-American Joint Venture also completed deliveries of their products to their customers. In 2010, the companies produced almost 40 thousand diesel and gas engines for trucks, stationary power units, etc. It is almost by 11.6 thousand units or by 42% more than in 2009.

For the first time, in 2010 spare parts for the main products of KAMAZ were produced and shipped to the tune of 10 billion roubles which is half as much as in 2009.

Thus, production growth rates in 2010 exceeded comparative figures in pre-crisis years by 25-30%. KAMAZ is ready to be the leader of Russia’s truck industry and increase production and sales volumes. According to preliminary figures, KAMAZ’s share on the Russian market was about 50% in 2010.

Like the majority of the country’s enterprises, production subdivisions of KAMAZ will start working on the 11th of January 2011. New Year’s vacation will be shorter only for trading services and some other departments, including repair and preproduction services.

The results of the company’s financial and economic activities in 2010 will be summed up in the first half of January.
