OREANDA-NEWS. January 14, 2011. Kyivstar President once again was recognized as one of the best top managers of Ukraine. In rating of Companion Magazine The Best TOP Managers of Ukraine 2010 Igor Litovchenko headed the list in the nomination "the most reputabletop manager" and ranked second among the most successful national top managers.

In 2010 Kyivstar President Igor Litovchenko ranked first as the most reputable top manager and second in the list of the most successful top managers in Ukraine. Business analytical magazine Companion already for some years assesses reputation of top managers of Ukrainian companies. Last year Igor Litovchenko also took top positions in both nominations of Companion magazine rating.

In 2010 the rating experts were offered a list of 100 top managers prepared by Companion magazine editorial board. It included managers who were among the best according to 2009 magazine ratings, as well as managers of the major companies in their respective sectors who acted as public figures.

According to Companion rating experts, the last year for Kyivstar was symbolic as the mobile operator became the foundation for merger of Ukrainian assets of VimpelCom Ltd. The objective of such consolidation is quite complex. For the following three years the company was entrusted with a task to become multi-service operator No. 1. Therefore Igor Litovchenko will have many opportunities to demonstrate his leadership talents.

Rating preparation principles for The Best TOP Managers of Ukraine

The top managers themselves from the participants of the rating prepared by Companion magazine editorial board became the main rating experts. 36 questionnaires were received from participants, 12 questionnaires were completed by business advisers and Companion Group editors. During the assessment two qualitative indicators such as successfulness for the last 12 months and authority in business environment were taken into account. The experts assessed according to ten-point scale only those managers about whose work they had an idea. The points were added and based on the total score the ranking was done.
