OREANDA-NEWS. January 17, 2011. We inform you that since 12.01.2011, upon the decision of the Supervisory Board of the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange, the following exchange fees have been set for purchase and sale transactions in foreign currencies taking into account a 20 percent VAT:

in case of settlements through separate customer accounts of the National Bank of Belarus:

from a seller of foreign currency - at a rate of 0.0095 percent from the amount in Belarusian rubles received from foreign currency sale;

from a buyer of foreign currency - at a rate of 2 percent from the amount in Belarusian rubles received from foreign currency purchase;

in case of direct settlements between trade participants:

from a seller of foreign currency - at a rate of 0.005 percent from the amount in Belarusian rubles received from foreign currency sale;

from a buyer of foreign currency - at a rate of 2 percent from the amount in Belarusian rubles paid for foreign currency purchase.

In case of purchase of foreign currency by banks at their own expense for the amount exceeding foreign currency sold to the population over foreign currency bought from the population, exchange fee is set at a rate of 0.0095 percent from the amount in Belarusian rubles paid for purchased foreign currency, taking into account a 20 percent VAT.
