OREANDA-NEWS. January 20, 2011. In 2010 UTair Aviation showed stable development of all operational indices. In 12 months the total volume of carried passengers reached a total of over 4.87 million, a 25% increase over 2009.

In 2010 UTair Aviation demonstrated a significant growth in other operational indices as well. Revenue passenger kilometers (RPK), performed by the Company, in January-December 2010 grew to a total of 7.98 million, a 37% more than in 2009. At the same time average growth of RPK, demonstrated by Russian airlines in 2010, amounted at 30.6%. Seat load factor on the Company’s flights reached 77%, 5.7 points more than in 2009.

In 12 months 2010 the volume of freight carried, performed by the Company’s aircraft, grew 21.1% in comparison with 2009 and totaled 12 148,5 tons and the volume of mail carried reached 3 598,2 tons, a 79% increase over 2009. Totally UTair’s aircraft logged flight hours amounted at 165 842, a 13.5% increase over 2009.

UTair’s rotary wing aircraft operations also demonstrated stable growth. RPK reached a total of 70 290, 4 tons, a 21.2% increase in comparison with 2009. Aircraft flying time amounted at 97 752 hours, a 23.1% more than in 2009.
