OREANDA-NEWS. January 25, 2011. Active development of retail banking business, which “Unibank” has chosen as its priority line, assumes the availability of branchy network and banking service “close to home” both in the capital and the regions, reported the press-centre of Unibank.

Taking into account the growth of sales volume and considerable enlargement of the customers database, “Unibank” has scheduled opening of 8 new branches thus increasing the number of branches to 42. In particular, till June 2011, new branches will start their activity in the capital administrative districts Davidashen, Erebuni and Arabkir and in Tashir city.

Three more branches will be set up in the centre of Yerevan. The new branches will provide a full-spectrum banking services including placing deposits, issuing and servicing banking cards, money transfers via “Unistream” system, crediting, settlement and cash servicing, public utilities payments, etc.

As of today the branch net of “Unibank” includes 34 branches three of which - Amiryan, Komitas, and Malatia – work at extended mode (till 19:30), and Zvartnots branch -  24-hour mode. All the branches of “Unibank” are connected to the common database and operate on-line thus ensuring maximum convenient service of customers.

Concurrently with branch net expansion“Unibank” proceeds with re-equipment of the branches. This year “Gyumri” branch will be transferred to new two-storeyed building. Three regional branches – “Yeghegnadzor”, “Alaverdi” and “Ashtarak” – will be reconstructed in corporate style that will increase the convenience in service.
