OREANDA-NEWS. January 26, 2011. The First Vice Prime Minister – the Minister of Economic Development and Trade Andriy Klyuev and the Head of the EU Delegation to Ukraine Jose Manuel Pinto Teysheyra have discussed the most important issues of cooperation at a meeting in Kyiv.

The key discussion topic was the general flow of negotiation process on the association agreement between Ukraine and the EU including the creation of a free trade zone.

The participants of the meeting have also discussed the implementation of the programmes on financial and technical help that is being granted to Ukraine by the European Union in the process of European integration and reforms. 

As is known, in 2010 Ukraine and the European Union concluded eight appropriate agreements. Besides, several more cooperation programmes, in particular on budgetary support of border administration, administrative and judicial reforms are being in preparation now.
