OREANDA-NEWS. January 28, 2011.  Meeting people’s needs should be government’s primary focus, Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko said addressing the seventh special session of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly on 27 January.

“Creating a comfortable environment for people is the ultimate goal of the Belarusian state. This is why zero tolerance to red tape, formalism, bias and indifference to people’s needs will become a mandatory requirement and a working style of the new government,” the head of state said.

Alexander Lukashenko emphasized that we managed to protect the country on 19 December solely thanks to people’s stance. “This is why we should cherish our people and it is not populism. We will not be able to do anything without people’s support,” the President said.
