OREANDA-NEWS. January 28, 2011. ALIDI, leading Russian provider of logistic and distribution services, launched distribution of Wrigley goods in St.Petersburg, thus extending its pool of distribution contracts in the second biggest city of the Russian Federation.

ALIDI and Wrigley have been partners since October 2006, when the companies concluded the first logistic contract. Since that time the scope of logistic operations according to the contract has increased twofold. On November, 2007, ALIDI and Wrigley expanded the cooperation: ALIDI became Wrigley distributor in Saransk, than in 2008 Wrigley’s sales department was opened in Vladimir; on June, 2009 ALIDI started sales of Wrigley goods in the Nizhny Novgorod region; on January 11, ALIDI became distributor in St. Petersburg.

The conclusion of new contract is an important step for the development of companies’ cooperation. Being market leader Wrigley demands much from its distributors and needs an efficient distribution system. Having experience of successful cooperation with Wrigley in other regions, ALIDI is ready to offer its customers innovative solutions and the required level of service, thus to show high results.

“St.Petersburg market is rather specific due to the high number of store-chains. At the beginning of the year 2010 we set a goal to strengthen our positions at this market as a distributor. The concluded contract will allow us to implement this goal, and to become reliable partner of so called traditional retail,” – comments Peter Demchenkov, General Director of ALIDI Group.

In 2010 ALIDI has greatly extended its pool of distribution contracts and now represent in St. Petersburg such manufactures as: Bunge, Pit-Produkt, Desan, Nevskie-Syry, Narsan and others. Today in St. Petersburg ALIDI has three sales departments: P&G, Wrigley and foodstuff distribution (mixed price list).
