OREANDA-NEWS. February 02, 2011. State Demonopolisation Committee reported the results of its activity in 2010. The expanded session noted that taken measures ensured the growth rates stability and economy's macroeconomic equilibration in 2010.

During the reported period State Demonopolisation Committee continued working on liquidation of economically insolvent enterprises and their transfer to new owners in the form of property complex including investment obligations.

The Committee jointly with the owners developed a range of measures on financial recovery and production potential rehabilitation on 814 enterprises, as a result of what 82% of enterprises reported the production and sale growth, 8% of enterprises carry out reconstruction, technical recovery and production modernization. Over 19,000 new workplaces were created.

Moreover, 138 markets (74 services markets) were analysed on 137 types of local products to assess the level of monopolization and competitive environment development, market saturation in the light of their substitution and price factor.

In compliance with the decision of the Committee, monopoly goods worth a total of 50.6 billion soums were displayed at exchange trades, while for types of monopoly goods were displayed on the results of inventory.

Moreover, 677 breaches of legislation were revealed as a result of measures taken to prevent anticompetitive actions and ensure the compliance with the requirements of antimonopoly legislation and legislation on natural monopolies. Totally, 29.5 billion soums were recovered, 6.2 billion soums were recollected in favor of consumers.

Additionally as a result of allocations, consumers received compensations worth a total of 479.8 million soums, 949 prescripts were issued.

The extended meeting also fixed mechanisms for the implementation of Committee's tasks and critically analyzed the activity of territorial bodies, discussed faults and neglects.
