OREANDA-NEWS. February 02, 2011. State budget support for domestic companies is projected to reach 2.3 trillion Belarusian rubles (Br) in 2011, the head of the central department for taxation and budget revenues of the Finance Ministry, Dmitry Kiyko, told a news conference.

According to him, 2.1 trillion rubles will be spent from the budget to cheapen interests on loans to domestic companies. Budget loans will amount to 148 billion rubles this year, according to Kiyko, and financial assistance will amount to 46 billion rubles.

In the first three quarters of 2010, budget support for companies amounted to 658 billion rubles, including 246 billion rubles spent on cheapening energy resources, 197 billion rubles’ worth of tax rebate, 105 billion rubles spent on cheapening interest on loans and 75 billion rubles’ worth of budget loans.
