OREANDA-NEWS. February 07, 2011. Total amount of credit investments to Azerbaijani economy made 9163,4 million manat. As compared with the same period of last year this indicator increased by 9,0%. 492,9 million manat (5,4%) of credit investments fell to the share of past-due loans, reported the press-centre of CBA.

29,5% of the credits or 2700,8 million manat were granted into home industry. The volume of credits directed at trade and services equaled to 2206,8 million manat (24,1%). 454,4 million manat (5,0%) fell to the share of transport and communication, 682,4 million manat (7,4%) to the share of industry and production.

984,0 million manat or 10,7% were granted to energy, chemistry and national resources, 441,3 million manat or 4,8% to the agriculture and processing, 660,6 million manat (7,2%) to construction and property, 46,0 million manat or 0,5% directed to other spheres.

As of 1 January 2011 2567,1 million manat (28,0%) of loans were short-term loans, 6596,3 million manat (72,0%) long-term loans.

Loans invested into economy by the state bank equaled to 3901,9 million manat (42,6%), by private banks 5069,9 million manat (55,3%), by non-bank credit institutions to 191,6 million manat (2,1%).

5865,3 million manat or 64,0% of credits were issued in national currency, 3298,1 million manat or 36,0% in foreign currency.
