OREANDA-NEWS. February 07, 2011. As of 01.02.2011, 42 interest yield GLTB issues (including 4 bond issues with the par value of BYR 1,000,000.00 and 43 bond issue for the par value of BYR 100,000.00), 4 discount yield GLTB issues (par value is BYR 100,000.00 for a bond) have been admitted to the BCSE circulation. 

In January 2011, there were 730 government securities transactions amounting to BYR 1 137.87 billion or 9 688 242 bonds (there were 887 transactions amounting to BYR 1 856.23 billion or 18 694 983 bonds in January 2010).

In January 2011, the “before redemption” transactions weighted average yield regarding DGLTB was 21.35 % per year, regarding IGLTB was 18.17% per year. An average REPO rate, regardless REPO period, regarding DGLTB was 10.559% per year, regarding IGLTB was 10.07% per year.

As of 01.02.2011, 27 banks and 13 non-banks securities market professional participants were admitted to the government securities secondary trades. Savings bank Belarusbank became the operation volume leader, and  MTBank became the leader by number of transactions in the secondary government securities market

The primary corporate bond market

As of 01.02.2011, 14 bond issues of 7 issuers were admitted to the exchange distribution. There were no bond distributions at the BCSE in a “simple auction” mode in January 2011.

The following issuers distributed their own bond issues in a “forward transaction” mode: Priorbank (issues No.17-18); BTA Bank (issues No.3-8); MTBank (issue No.7); Belarusian People’s Insurance Pension Fund (issue No.1); Technobank (issues No.2-5); Agroleasing (issue No.2); ASB Leasing (issues No.12 (ETB), No.14(ETB)). These operations resulted in 27 transactions in bonds of 3 Issuers (ASB Leasing, MTBank, Technobank) amounting to BYR 38.11 billion, or 222 863 bonds. The weighted average yield was 11.36 % per year. (There were 20 bond distributions amounting to BYR 61.37 billion or 249 173 bonds in January 2010).

As of 01.02.2011, 24 banks and 35 non-bank securities market professional participants were admitted to the participation in the bonds distribution purchase.

The secondary corporate bond market (Local Loan Bonds (LLB) exclusive)

As of 01.02.2011, 149 bond issues of 55 Issuers were admitted to the exchange circulation, including 59 bond issues of 11 banks which were admitted to the First Level Quotation List A and 90 bond issues of 44 Issuers were admitted to the Out-of List circulation.

In January 2011, there were 265 corporate bond transactions in the exchange trade system amounting to BYR 312.92 billion or 1 461 246 bonds, including 264 transactions settled in Belarusian rubles amounting to BYR 311.73 billion; one transaction settled in US dollars amounting to USD 0.40 million. There were 62 bonds transactions amounting to BYR 36.1 billion or 140 489 bonds in January 2010.

In January 2011, S-Tplus0 and S-Tplusn transactions weighted average yield reached 11.28 % per year. The weighted average rate of S-REPO bonds transactions was 12.47 % per year.

As of 01.02.2011, 24 banks and 35 non-bank securities market professional participants were admitted to trades.

In January 2011, Belarusbank became the operation volume leader, and Belinvestbank was the leader by number of transactions in the secondary corporate bond market.

The secondary LLB market

As of 01.02.2011, 89 bond issues of 48 Issuers were admitted to the out-of-list circulation. In January 2011, there were 12 LLB transactions amounting to BYR 405.3 billion or 185 605 bonds of executive-administrative authorities bonds.

There was one S-REPO transaction in bonds amounting to BYR 10.0 billion or 10 000 bonds with 41 days repayment period. The weighted average yield of the S-Tplus0 and S-Tplusn transactions was 19% per year, S-REPO transactions – 11.5% per year. There were 12 transactions in bonds amounting to BYR 405.3 billion or 185 605 bonds in January 2010.

The secondary equity market

As of 01.02.2011, 1 941 issues of 1 905 Issuers were admitted to the exchange circulation, including 2 issues of one Issuer which were admitted to the First Level Quotation List A, 22 issues of 21 issuers were admitted to the Second Level Quotation List A, 48 issues of 48 Issuers were admitted to the Quotation List B and 1 869 issues of 1 835 issuers were admitted to the out-of-list circulation.

In January 2011, there were 1 003 equity transactions in the exchange trade system amounting to BYR 13.37 billion, or 941 989 equities. In January 2010, there were 109 equity transactions amounting to BYR 2.91 billion, or 125 474  equities.

As of 01.02.2011, 24 banks and 35 non-bank securities market professional participants were admitted to the equities secondary trades. In January 2011, Western Stock Bureau, CJSC became the operation volume leader and Brokerage Company Analytic became the leader by number of transactions in the secondary equity market.

As of 01.02.2011, the number of admitted to the exchange circulation issuers totaled 2 222 securities issues. 

In January 2011, there were 2 026 purchase and sale securities transactions amounting to BYR 1 512.28 billion, or 12 324 340 securities. In January 2010, there were 1 090 purchase and sale securities transactions amounting to BYR 2 361.92 billion, or 19 395 724 securities.
