OREANDA-NEWS. February 08, 2011. The students of Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics (BSUIR) who successfully completed training in the IBM course “Management of Software Requirements” received the IBM certificates. The ceremony was held in the IBA-BSUIR joint laboratory in Minsk, Belarus, reported the press-centre of IBA.

In November 2008, IBA and the Department of Information Science of the Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics (BSUIR) opened a joint IT laboratory. Thanks to the launch of the laboratory, the BSUIR students received a possibility to study the stages of the software development lifecycle using IBM products.

BSUIR became one of the first higher educational institutions in Belarus to join the “IBM Academic Qualification” program and was authorized to issue relevant education certificates.

Dr. Anatoly Osipov, BSUIR First Vice Rector, and Ivan Vrublevski, IBA HR Director, welcomed the BSUIR students, lecturers, and special guests. Alexander Sorokin, IBM Manager of University Projects in Russia and CIS, handed over the certificates.
