OREANDA-NEWS. February 08, 2011. On the 4-th February on the personal invitation of President of Warsaw Stock Exchange Ludwik Sobolevskyi ASTARTA CEO Viktor Ivanchyk took part in the final meeting of the 10-th Economic Forum "Ukraine-Poland", held at the Warsaw Stock Exchange under the chairmanship of the President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych and President of Poland Bronislaw Komorowski. The meeting was attended by the governmental officials and representatives of business community of both countries.

In his speech, Viktor Yanukovych noted the importance of such events for promoting effective partnership between Ukraine and Poland and between businessmen of the two countries. He emphasized that the future of our countries largely depends on representatives of regions and business which can fill the agreements, which are being signed between Ukraine and Poland, with substance.

Polish President noted the symbolic meaning of place of this event. In his opinion, the WSE is a good example of how the Polish-Ukrainian cooperation is carried out. He stressed that on the Exchange five Ukrainian companies are being listed, and he called these companies the most courageous, because they were the first. "Next debuts are coming ....  because WSE provides significant  business benefits across the region, including Ukraine ", - said the president.

Victor Ivanchyk in his comments to Polish media emphasized that he is proud of the fact that ASTARTA was the first Ukrainian company debuted on the Warsaw Stock Exchange. "Over the past five years I have never doubted the correctness of the decision. The Exchange has justified our expectations regarding liquidity and the price of shares, which had increased by more than five times since the debut in August 2006 ", - he said.
