OREANDA-NEWS. February 09, 2011. Ingosstrakh OJSIC paid 2.7 mln rubles to the Agricultural Company Khleborob LLC, located in the Samara Region, in connection with harvest failure.

According to the agreement, the harvest of winter wheat on the total area of 576 hectares was insured from complete or partial loss for the total sum of 5.7 mln rubles.

The insurance event was the drought in summer 2010, which resulted in the partial destruction of crops. An expert examination was required to establish the amount of damage, after which the event was classified as the insurance event and Ingosstrakh OJSIC paid the insurance indemnity in full to the company.

The harvest insured was an object of pledge with Samara regional subsidiary of Rosselkhozbank OJSC, within the framework of the loan received.

Ingosstrakh OJSIC and the Agricultural Company Khleborob LLC have been cooperating in the sphere of agro-industrial insurance since 2008. During this time, agricultural machinery and the future harvest of crops were insured.
